Mom's journey update

Thanks for all your prayers and wonderful thoughts that came Mom's way.  She is doing well and still in the hosptial.  There was a terrible glitch.  She had to make the decision to have a mastectomy while in the hospital.  A hemotobin filled the area where the biopsy had been taken.  Thick blood pocket.  They could not detect the location of the tumor.  She could wait for the clot to go down, which could take months, or remove the breast.  She prayed and talked about it and made the decision for the surgery.

She is very brave and I was very proud of her, and I think God sent me there for a reason.  It was great to be there with her.

Heading to the hospital again and then back to Texas.

  3. Glad you mom is doing o.k. and so glad you were there. I am sure that meant a lot to her. Sorry she had to have a masectomy. My dil's mom had one too right after my son and she got married. My dil could not be there because her parents live in Italy.

  8. I'm glad that you were there too, I know that is the support she needed to make the decision she did, and that God is in control, and it was for the best recovery. Travel safe, and I'll continue to pray.
