I wanted to respond to you about the quilting. Although I used an embroidery mode to do the fancy quilted motif, you could just as easily do a simple quilting grid across your blocks & then assemble them via the Cotton Theory method. I just wanted something fast before my friend arrived. A basic straight stitch sewing machine will work just as well with her technique, honest.
I'm sorry to read all that your Mom has gone through. My Mom did too, & she lived many, many years post-op.
Lucky you on the beautiful new crystal!!! :-)

So pretty. Love the giftwrap too. The placesetting is stunning. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteHi Lori,
ReplyDeleteMy kids are the same way about my camera. Every pic of my oldest shows him with his mouth moving and it's saying, "Mom, put the DAMN camera away." LOL
Just had to comment that my boyfriend Johnny's twins just turned 26 as well..... His are boys, though.
Have a great weekend....
I love that you left the labels on....sounds so like something I would do! Very nice glasses by the way.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love the placesetting! Whenever my kids see the camera they know it's for the blog! They really don't like it;)!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
