Mom I want to have a lemonade stand this summer!

I came across the most over the top, adorable lemonade stand post.  Over the top kids and Mom too!

If you start now, you could have one of these up in running in no time months.

If your Mom is Christie you get to help and be involved in the whole process.

You will have the most show stopping lemonade stand in all of America for sure.

Best deal too, I bet they got a lot of tips!

You must go and see the entire post by Christie at Three Pixie Lane
Tell her Lori sent you and you want to know when the next lemonade stand will be up and running!

Giveaway and Wisteria Clearance

and I just had to go.

It was in a new location, but I found it.

I'm going back for the lamb.

Lots and lots of furniture.

Book look alike hinged boxes.
These rail things would look great with towels, or something hanging off them or just by themselves.

My youngest daughter got one of these, Mango wood tables?  This picture has two side by side that a lady was looking at to use for a buffet.  Such a great idea!

Our little haul.

The giveaway will be one of these two little gems. It will be a surprise when you win.

Now play along and follow the rules.

Commenting you get one chance to win, following you get two!
Talk about the giveaway on your blog and let me know, gives you another chance.
I'll draw on July 4th, (que the fireworks, YAY!)

So I know you are asking yourself "do I feel lucky?" (Clint Eastwood reference)
I'm so lucky because I live by the warehouse!

A corageous Mom, daughter and family ~ I have never met

Have you noticed the button on the side of my blog.  I am so touched by this family story. One they would have never chosen, but Kate, the mother of Lucy, Ella and Jack is showing what true faith and family are all about. Erik her husband and Lucy's Dad is quite a rock for them all.  Kate is allowing us to follow her ups and downs.  You can click on the picture below or on the Pray for Lucy line below.

I just ask that you add this family to your prayer list.
Follow their journey and be amazed at one strong faith filled woman's story.

I am !

We are talking small

Very small front porch, but I can fill it with a few of my favorite things.

Love my newly painted red door.

Wisteria table

Fleur de lis welcomes everyone

Love the hanging candlelier

Come through the garden gate

Enter the backyard to our secret garden.
First you see the pond Lynn created.

It is watched over by a mermaid and yellow ducky.

The pond lilly is blooming and the pink crepe myrtles over head too.

Tons of shade for our yard,  we can only plant shade worshiping plants.

Ferns and ivy do great with little sun.

On Lynn's plant stand he is training this circle topiary of varigated ivy.

Love this shot of my gloves on the shelf.  If it can hold dirt he will plant something in it.  This is an old solar light fixture!

In the winter you can find us sitting beside this firepit.

Thanks for visiting, come back soon.

Saturday Shopping and 100 degrees

A blog friend told me about a junk sale that I have been trying to get to for months.  What's up with the only once a month thing? The cutest store ever called Fringe, only open on the third weekend of every month?  Two cute metal fleur de lis with a hook on the back to hang. I may run a ribbon through the back and use as napking rings.  $3.00 each.  I got all they had left.

This set of four boxes was in the outdoor field.  100 degrees today in the Dallas area.  We shopped fast.  I brought these home, the set of four ~ 10 dollars total.  I even left them and came back, they were still there.  It was meant to be.  I'm not a big rooster fan, those will probably be turned to the back when I use them.

Did you notice the Dallas, Maverick signs?  My youngest daughter was one of 200,000 at their championship parade.

Here is the link to follow, Stephanie with Southern Charm Cottage,  always updates about the next sale.

18 on a family vacation

Eureka Springs, AR ~ Beaver Lake
A log cabin with beautiful views plus 18 family members equals tons of fun!

View from the bedroom window.  Didn't get much sleep, log houses are loud with all the hard surfaces...hmmm or was it the 18 people, probably a little of both.

We cheered the Dallas Mavs during their championship game!  I think they heard us in Dallas.

Three generations!

We found a boutique winery, enjoyed the wine tasting too.

I was in charge of packing lunch the day of our boat outing.  This is how everyone had to the eat chicken pasta salad when someone me forgets to pack the forks!

My brother had his first boat driving experience and first tubing time too.

Good way to get to the boat when there is no dock.

Yes, do I look happy.  All the girls were there, plus Michael and we missed you Sean!  I guess SMU business masters program is important too.

Thorncrown Chapel in the Ozark Mountains just minutes outside of downtown Eureka Springs!

Shopping day and dog petting day.

It is a cave!  It is supposed to be dark!

Hello life long family memories, Good-bye Arkansas 2011.
