Sunday in Utah it was 28 degrees when we left. Monday afternoon in Dallas it was 88!
So, just wait a day. It is crazy spring time in Texas. Today only highs in the 40's.
Lynn and I celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary at Snowbird Resort in Utah.
We had a room with a view! Wonderful and relaxing.
We did ski and hot tub and well... boys will be boys. Lynn had a snowball fight with a tree.
And as we left the snow was falling again.
When we got home to the Texas warmth, Lynley had started work on a project while we were gone.
I bought her these chairs from Craig's list. I painted them for her college apartment, she is changing them to gray for her new apartment. More on these later.
And our backyard has wild violets going crazy (Thanks Betty) and this little Azalea that could, keeps blooms pretty much all year long.
Congratulations. It looks like you had a wonderful, wonderful time on you anniversary. I love those chairs-lucky daughter-xo Diana

Jealous!!!! It is a whopping 27 degrees and we have about 10 inches of snow. :-( I am over it!!!! I was in Florida two weeks ago and it was 88 and humid. Loved it!!!! I am not liking my husband right now for moving me from Charleston. :-)
ReplyDeleteWelcome home! Loved seeing your pictures! I LOVE snow! Preferably in ski resorts and mountains!
ReplyDeleteYou must have had a great time in that snow. But isn't it great to get back home! The chairs are looking so pretty! I've had the air conditioning on for a couple of days here!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie and thank you for popping in to see me,
Shelia ;)
