Wreath, silver, shine and magnificent!

I wanted to go all out on the wreath above the mantel.  Silver and shine is the theme.

Lynley helped and brought home the birds and nests of glass eggs.  She created the whole thing while we were at a Christmas party and it was hung on the wall by the time we got home.

This is what we started with...

We ended up buying two more boxes of silver large balls before she began.

We found the most perfect 34 inch empty wreath at Michaels, Lynley felt it wasn't full enough so she added a nine foot garland to the center before she began to glue each and every ornament.  Then finally the glitter garland added just the right finish.

I am so loving it!  Daytime and night time, both gorgeous.

Thanks Lynley!

I'm glad Lynley made the suggestion to add another 9 feet of garland to the middle of the wreath to help with making it extra full.

Merry Christmas, I know you wish you had one too!  Thanks, Lynley

  2. That is one gorgeous wreath.... I love unexpected colors used in Christmas decorations. Would you be so kind as to share the name of that beautiful green paint color? I'm redoing my hall bathroom and having trouble finding the "right" green....

    Happy Holidays!
