Hostess gift idea!

I have given these as Christmas gifts, and no, I do not plan this far ahead for a holiday.  But I will be entering this in a contest, with a deadline that is quickly approaching.

Cute creole seasoning gift bucket.  The recipe is below.

Gather ingredients...

Measured and ready to whisk.

Mixed and ready to pour, a funnel really helps at this stage.

Cutest little jar of Creole Seasoning ever!

  4. Love that little hinged jar, Lori!! I have copied & pasted this recipe into a Word doc. for future meals.

Please tell me how you changed the font on your entire blog to such a beautiful script? I struggle so much with trying to keep mine all the same size & in bold so I can read it with these old eyes.
If I type in Live Writer, sometimes it doesn't transfer over very nicely. I would greatly appreciate your help on this.

  5. What an awesome gift! I may have to try that! I will make it for myself first you know... just to test it out! I think it would be yummy! I love neat gifts like that, but I have to admit... I have cheated the last two years and bought cute dip bowl/knife sets after Christmas when they were $7 instead of $14! Homemade is always best, but cheap and easy works too! I would pay money to have a Hobby Lobby near me! I love that place! The closest Ikea is in Atlanta. Sounds like a road trip to me!!!

Hope you are doing well, Lori. I have been so busy that I haven't been able to visit my favorite blogs very often. Hope you had a great weekend! :)
