Mashed Apron Holder!

I wanted to display a few of my aprons in the kitchen and to also have them close by when I need them.  The rest of my collection is in the laundry room.

So I needed something to hang them from.

A mashed potato kitchen gadget was perfect!

The large polka dot apron is embroidered with the letters g.r.i.t.s.  Ya'll know what that stands for.... Girls raised in the South!  And of course she would have an apron collection and a resourceful hook solution.  The bow head on top doesn't hurt either.

  6. That is a fantastic idea! I just pounded a nail in my wall yesterday for the aprons I use most (I have dozens and dozens of vintage aprons). I have a big jar of vintage kitchen utensils... I would have never thought to hang aprons on one... Hmmmm :)

  14. Talk about super clever and cute! I never would have thought to do something like this. My aprons are stuffed in a cabinet and I've been meaning to buy a hanger for them in the kitchen. Maybe I need to think outside the box like you did. Love it!

  15. Lori, how FUN! Very cool use of a kitchen utensil. I rarely use my metal masher since all my pans are non-stick & I had to buy a plastic one. Brilliant!

  17. Sooooo CUTE...clever idea and love the bow head!!! My hubs called our Haley bow head...now a girl in the South needs a big bow:) He told me please don't take them to the swim club with a bow in their hair (I think I did a few times).
