I saw this recipe here.. Sweet Nothings by BJ. This is a sweet something, thanks for the tip BJ.
Fresh strawberries are in the stores now and so affordable. I made up two packets. (4 jars)
Two packets, 3 cups of berries (mashed), 1 1/2 cups of sugar. Made four 8 oz jars. They are in the freezer now. They cost $1.25 per jar. I think I need to make some more and save for Christmas gifts. The packet says you can freeze up to a year. I'm going back for more.
Nothing better than homemade jam-enjoy:@)
ReplyDeleteI may have to try this. I love strawberry jam and we love freezer jam. It would make great gifts. Thanks for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteI hope I'm on your Christmas list this year. :o) I used to make it years ago with my mom. Maybe it's time to journey down memory lane....into Strawberry Fields. :o) Corney, huh?
ReplyDeleteI LOVE fruit jams. But this a no cook jam? And you freeze it instead of "can" it. This sounds interesting!!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds REALLY easy! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI heart freezer jam...yours looks super yummy.
