So much fun watching our friends children, that we watched grow up, getting married. Even more fun to be able to host a shower to get them started on all the things they will need.
Here are some fun shots from the day.
Our hostess gift to the couple, two ottomans, a lamp and a bottle of wine!
My daughter's helped hostess and they had these silver trays with chalkboard paint to use.
If you see trays at Goodwill that are cheap and tarnished, shine them up, tape them off and a couple coats of chalkboard paint later...voila.
The dessert table first!
The mashed potato bar! Help yourself. If you have never had basil pesto on your mashed potatoes, you must try it!
Sandwiches, salads and chick fil-a nuggets of course.
Girls, girls, girl talk.
We made Kaylee play the most fun game. We taped, Brenton her fiance, asking him questions about the two of them, mostly questions about Kaylee. We would pause the tape, she would answer than we would show his taped answer on the screen. Good way to involve the groom in an all girl shower.
Way fun! But boy was I tired at the end. Glad it was not at my house, I would have had to clean for the two days before!
