My daughter and son-in-law have made some new home improvments. They have just tripled the size of their back patio and had the newly poured concrete stamped and stained. They found the guy to do the job on Craig's List.
Ann Marie took the door off the coat closet and added a chandelier, Michael trimmed out the door frame.
They are creating a wine closet and are now trying to come up with an idea for a wrought iron door enclosure.
She is getting ready to host her Junior League committee luncheon that she is chairwomen of this year. Literacy project (Proud Mama comment! please allow me.)
The moss and natural balls in the basket look great.
She has started collecting tea cups. Her china pattern is silver rimmed, see the other pictures, with a hammered pattern. Her silverware is a Waterford pattern. I know I should remember all the names, sorry.
I gave her this tea cup and saucer for Christmas.
Enjoyed visiting with them. They live in McKinney, TX. It is about a 25 minute drive for us up Highyway 121. A little far, but plenty close. I have friends whose children live in other states, so I am not complaining at all!
Have fun Lori! Love the table scape too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty home she has. Love her table setting. You can boast all you want!
ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful that you daughter is close enough to drive to see her!Even though I'm sure next door would be just perfect for you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely collection of cups and saucers! I like how they mix so well.
I'm sure you enjoyed your visit. My daughter is 2 1/2 hours away, and I don't see her as often as I wish.
So nice to visit!
