Saturday catching up

This is how your Saturday goes when you work full time during the week.  I had a list of things I needed to get done and pretty much stuck to it.  I did drop Hobby Lobby but added Macy's.

Here is a quick look.  It was a weird combination of places. Speaking of different how about this little deer all fancied up.   The merchandising supervisor, so the sign says.

Gas is on the list, might need that first.
But the bank was on the way to Costco.

I wish I had taken a picture of the gas pump when I was in high-school and paid about .75 cents a gallon.

Now that those two items are out of the way, onto the fun stuff.

I headed down 121 to McKinney.  More on the surprises I found here later.  But Dallas area ladies this flea market will be going on tomorrow too from noon to four.  East Virginia through old McKinney town sqaure and left a couple blocks.  Outside and inside bunches of stuff.  Follow Stephanie here and she keeps you updated on all the area shows.  Stephanie is the first booth on the left when you walk inside the front door.

Next back down 75 to George Bush (thank -you tollroads or I would still not be home) cut through on Midway to my favorite fabric store in the area.  Remember the fabric I got last weekend, I forgot to get the new hardware, so back I went.

Down 635 to 35 to 3040.  Are you lost yet?

Had to pick up some necessary items for an upcoming wedding.

The last two stops were for wedding presents.  Leaving Macy's I wasn't looking where I was going and  found myself on the ground. But, not injuries, just hurt pride mostly.  Thank goodness the curb wasn't a high one.

Here is my complaint ~ probably because it was my last stop and I was tired. But now at Bed, Bath and Beyond they give you a number and you have to wait for someone to go to a back room and bag wrap your gift.  I gave my customer service suggestion complaint and was on my way home!

I only was gone four hours, whew!  Now about that curtain fabric waiting for me.

  1. So funny, we wouldn't have dreamed of taking a picture of a gas pump back then. Too much trouble and wait to get film developed and think "why do I have a picture of a gas pump"! I live on the other side of the metroplex SW of Fort Worth...a lot less traffic over here but also not as much great shopping!

  3. Sounds like a busy day! Glad you didn't get hurt from the fall, I tripped off the step a week ago and my foot still isn't ok. And like I always say, work interferes with everything! Happy Weekend:@)
