If you plan on coming down, the market is in Spring around the end of March and Fall around the end of September. Round Top is population 79 or something like that, maybe 81 by now. Finding accommodations is a bit of a challenge. BandB's are booked years in advance. Very few hotel choices. We drove to Giddings, TX about a 20 minutes from the fields to stay at a very old Ramada. Luckily you don't spend much time in your room.
During the two weeks, probably about 20,000 shoppers show up for preview week and antique week. It is in the middle of NO where, the closest large city is Austin about an hour and half away. Dallas was a four hour drive for us. We got to spend three days, two nights. If you come in springtime the drive is loaded with Bluebonnets in the fields. Our state flower.
There is just so much to see. I'll start you off with White, so put on your sun shades it going to be bright.
I want to go back, it is still going on....
