16.47 Junkin' trip finds

Such good finds.. I just have to share and help me question at the end of post.

Here is the breakdown.. green tags 75 percent off, pink tags half off.

Heart dish..37 cents, creamer 1.49

Candlesticks are some kind of stone or marble, carved all one piece..  .87 cents tall, 62 cents for the small one - green stickers

Tiny martini's ... 1.00 each

Bear votives will be going to my sisters for St. Pats parade in Baton Rouge.
1.00 each - pink stickers

Irish coffee glasses, I found two sets of four each.  One set with gold trim and handles, the other with shamrocks and the recipe printed on the side.  One dollar per glass.  Don't look Mom.  My Mom makes Irish Coffee the morning of the parade.  She'll get one set and my sister the other.

On another note....
Help anyone... where to find burlap ribbon?  Michael's only had wide loose weave, need about one inch wide, thick burlap.  I guess I could just cut strips from fabric??

  4. I don't know where to find the burlap ribbon, but I love all the Irish stuff you found. St. Patrick's Day is one of my favorite holidays.

It sounds like your family celebrates in grand style. My aunt and I used to celebrate the day together until she move to Florida. Last year, I flew down to celebrate with her.

  8. You could just cut burlap, but it really sheds. I'd only do that as a last resort.

  13. How much do you need? I found some burlap ribbon at a thrift store awhile back....it's probably 20 yrs. old! It's about 1" wide but there wasn't a lot on the roll. If you don't need much you are welcome to what I have.
