Stats - have you noticed this

I just noticed this stats thing that blogger offers.  If it has been around a while, I just missed it I guess.

It is pretty neat to view.  It gives you all kind of stats for your blog.  Countries that visit you, etc.
Below are the sites people used to link to my site last week.

Romantic Home wins out and the other high number blogs are due to parties I joined.
But hooray to Savvy Southern Style.  No parties, but I am on her blog roll, she sent me a lot of visitors.

Look at your stats, under stats tab on dashboard.  I have one of those counter gadgets on my blog, but I like the ease and information from the blogger one.

Fall tabletop

Fall has arrived in the dining room.

Peek through the pumpkin first...

Lynn's Mom's silverplate on the tray, flea market finds under the cloche.

Other side of iron pumpkin, fall leaf candles and Southern Living party iron holder with a Tyler candle of course.   Buy one next time you see one, High Maintenance one of my fav scents.

Ready for full view...

Hey did you know camera's have a candlelight setting?

first try for me...

OK, I do need to practice with that setting some more.

Happy Fall Y'all, (if I keep saying that will it get cooler?)

Three generations of silver

I have three girls and luckily have three patterns of silverware.

Great-Grandmother, Grand-mother, Mother ( to my girls)

I'll start with the oldest.  The girls Great Grand-mother.

Rogers Brothers, Remembrance

It has a pretty beaded edge, this set has tons of serving pieces to  match.

Next the set from their Grand-mother

Rogers Brothers - No pattern name, Old Company plate on some
This set includes ice tea spoons.  Some are engraved with a K.

My set

Christofle of France, Malmaison
I was told that the french set the silverware upside down (to us) probably right side to them.  Since they eat continental style... the backs of the silverware are more detailed than the front.

I love setting it "upside down" for dinner parties.

I enjoy them all and they will remain that way for many generations to come.

Game on - second chance

There was a game in one of my posts and prizes to win.  Two people won...Gina at Three Ring Cottage and Lynn at Happier than a Pig in Mud. I am giving you one more chance.

If you missed the game ( a lot of you did ) it was in this post, about fall, at the very bottom.  OK so I might get a little wordy at times and talk a lot, but hello...it is one of my favorite things.  Now, that was three hints.

There are four movie references on my home page.  For example.. huge hint coming up.  Top left, girl with dog, wants to get home really bad, red shoes (see above).

Name all four and one of you will have a fall gift come your way!

Some more Fall creeping its way in

I got the linens out...

I purchased this runner several years ago, before burlap was the in thing.  I like the different colors they are dyed.  Pier One purchase.

Williams Sonoma quilted round cloth, reversible option, but I like the paisley side.

Back splash vignette with fall plate, Fitz and Floyd

I found these fall candles and added them to a pale yellow plate, really they are candles.

I'm just a tenth of the way complete. I still haven't hit up the orange tub yet, but it is down from the attic.
