Pot Party with Funky Junk Interiors

Lynn acquired a potting stand from my sister.
He has always loved it and she needed to do some spring cleaning.
He ran over with my son-in-laws and
one of their trucks and picked it up.

It came with several pots and buckets.

He used some around the yard

Now the above photo of the stand is how a man would set it up.
I haven't had time to "arrange" it yet. I'm invisioning grapevine wreaths undone and
trailing around the side....

I had to show you one more pot, another Lynn project.
The vine started in the pot on the bottom shelf of this gorgeous black iron
and brass baker's rack.
And Lynn has trained it to cover the entire thing.

Congrats to 2000 followers for Donna at Funky Junk Interiors.  I didn't even know

My daughter's are wonderful at hostessing!

Ann Marie and Michael's Aunt Debbie hosted a wedding shower at Ann Marie's house.
They did a lovely job.  Melissa has one next month, can't wait to see how
 fabulous that one turns out.
The bride will be Ann Marie's new sister-in-law, Michael's brother is getting
married in July.

My silver chalkboard tray put into action above.

Her house was decorated so cute.  I loved the beveled glass on vases.
She filled the vases with flowers.   All the flowers were white.  Peacock feathers
and colors everywhere else.

An old antique door she bought in Allen.  From a house being torn down.

Yummy food everywhere.

The yogurt bar, served in martini glasses was a smash hit. I may have gone back for
seconds, hummm ... I can't remember.

We are now calling this the grape tray, because the grapes match the purple
in the handles perfectly.

Even their backyard was bright and festive.

Haven took a little nap in a back bedroom.

Please pray sweet thoughts take home favors, so adorable.

Sorry, I was so busy talking, huh, imagine that.  I missed a picture of the hostesses
with the guest of honor.  Hayley!

First Monday, Canton Part two

I was blog surfing and came across this web site.  Laurie Anna's Vintage Store.
My name is Lori Ann, connection made.

When I realized she would have a booth at Canton,
I wrote down the location and headed over there.  She has great stuff and also has a store location on Highway 19 heading towards the pavilions.

Only sad thing, the store is only open during First Monday weekends too.  I overheard a lot of their hot items sold out on Friday.  She is worth finding her spot if you are ever there.
She posts her location on her blog.  See above link.

These are my purchases for the day, all from Laurie Anna's.

Embroidered guest towel, 2.95.

Bird frame, goes great on my white mantel.  $4.95.

Lynn and our yard came to mind with my next purchase.

The crown planter $16.95, Lynn immediately filled with ivy and the green pot.
I'm thinking impatiens will look great.

Then on my way out of town the have to stop at Paul Michael's.

Fun day, weekend over.

Its so very Cheri
