What came home with me from Round Top

Just a few things came home with me this year.  But, the best are the laughs and fun I had with my daughters, sisters and friends!  Memories you cannot put a price on ever!

Two items not pictured.  The clock necklace that was a peer pressure buy.  Two other ladies were buying one, so I caved.  And I hand painted china piece that I am using at work for pens and pencils.

This little lamb screamed spring and Easter.  It is an artist print on a block of gorgeous wood.

I fell in love with this artist, Mary Gregory.  I am so glad she had some affordable objects.  Since, I need to save up for an original.

Silver sugar tongs.  Half price sale, so I couldn't resist.  It is a 1920's pattern.

An iron bunny found it's way into my bag.

The Louisiana girl in me was drawn to the magnolia gravy boat.

I have passed up dough bowls for years. This one came home with me this time.

This silver spoon bracelet, reminds me of the popular cuff bracelets.  And I got to meet the designer.

Before and ...

after! This is the only thing I had on my list to find at Round Top.  Some kind of iron piece to fill this empty space between the den and living room.  It is from Europe and from the top of an old gate.  Or at least that was the "story".

Girls just want to have fun.  We called him fake Juan Pablo.  (Sorry, Bachelor show reference)

Good-bye Round Top, Texas.  See you in the fall.

  2. Wow you found some great things. I love your gate piece...that's on my list too but they are always so expensive! I used to look at Mary Gregory's blog and then her website. Haven't ever purchased anything though. I love her work.

Yesterday I went back through the old posts of your kitchen transformation. So beautiful!
